Are you Smart, Focused and Looking for a New Challenge?
Want to earn a wage whilst you learn?
Have you thought of a Pathway to Apprenticeship at The College Ystrad Mynach?

The Pathways to Apprenticeship programme is a one year full time programme giving you intensive training in your vocational area to equip you with the skills to help you progress to a full time apprenticeship. After the year you will be in a strong position to be recruited by an employer, carrying with you a range of enviable skills and training.
Studying over a 48 week year, you will be paid a training allowance of £30 a week, subject to satisfactory attendance and progress on your course.
Learners who progress onto Apprenticeship at the end of the year typically earn a minimum wage of £50 a week whilst working towards a level 3 qualification in their chosen area. Some people even carry on their training to complete University level qualifications alongside their job, without racking up large student loans!
