A new project entitled 'Girls Allowed' has recently started at The College Ystrad Mynach which offers free dance classes for female students.
The project was the result of a partnership between The College Ystrad Mynach, Sport Caerphilly and The Sports Council for Wales with classes taking place every Wednesday and Friday lunchtime open to females of all ages, with a variety of dance styles being taught.
Helena Vickery, Student Worker at The College Ystrad Mynach said "This is a great project, i'm sure it will be fun for those and involved and hopefully will engage more females in physical activity so that they can work towards the Department of Health's recommended 30 minutes of physical activity at least 5 days a week".
