Happy Birthday Tommy
The College Ystrad Mynach will host the annual Tommy Cooper Birthday celebration on Friday 20 March 2009, with actor and singer Brian Hibbard speaking at the annual event.
The event, which takes place on March 20, the day after what would have been Tommy’s 88th birthday, has been organised by The Tommy Cooper Society, which raised £45,000 for a 9ft bronze statue that was unveiled almost a year ago, on a site overlooking Caerphilly’s 13th-century castle.
